Immix Partner: Captis Intelligence

Captis Intelligence is a subject-intelligence and investigative platform designed to support real-time decision making and post-incident analysis. They have built the first centralized, cloud-based subject intelligence system connected to the world’s largest private database consisting of 180 million + open-source criminal files provided by county, state and federal agencies. By aggregating open-source criminal records and investigative data into a centralized system, Captis provides actionable intelligence that helps security and law enforcement professionals better understand who they are dealing with and how to respond safely and effectively.

Built for speed and accuracy, Captis enables organizations to move beyond assumptions and partial information, delivering insights that reinforce situational awareness and promote public safety.

Captis Intelligence + Immix

The Captis integration extends Immix’s dispatch and incident-management workflow by injecting investigative intelligence directly into the monitoring process, leveraging their ODSI (On Demand Subject Intelligence) solution, which is a highly accurate face-matching system allowing professional monitoring agents an industry-first capability to immediately identify suspects from surveillance video.

Through Immix, operators can initiate image scans against Captis’ open-source criminal database with a single action, without leaving the monitoring interface. Potential matches are returned within seconds, allowing operators to maintain focus on the live event while gaining additional context that may influence escalation, response type, or responder safety considerations.

This intelligence is available both during active incidents and after the event as part of investigative and forensic follow-up, ensuring that insight is preserved beyond initial response.

How the integration supports operations

The Immix and Captis integration is designed to support decision making, not replace it.

During an active event, operators can:

  • Submit images for rapid analysis while continuing to monitor the situation
  • Receive potential subject matches in seconds
  • Use additional context to inform dispatch decisions and response escalation

After an event, teams can:

  • Perform forensic review and subject identification as part of follow-up investigations
  • Preserve intelligence alongside event data as part of the audit trail
  • Strengthen reporting, accountability, and case documentation

By keeping investigative tools embedded within the same workflow used for monitoring and dispatch, Immix ensures intelligence remains connected to the event lifecycle rather than siloed in a separate system.

Why this matters

Monitoring and dispatch decisions are often made under pressure, with limited time and incomplete information. At the same time, law enforcement and first responders face increasing strain on resources and heightened safety risks.

Providing access to relevant intelligence at the moment it is needed can materially impact how responders are deployed and how safely incidents are handled.

The Immix and Captis integration reinforces operator judgment by delivering additional insight at critical moments. It helps close the information gap between monitoring centers and responders, supports safer response strategies, and enables deeper investigation when events do not end at resolution.

Expanding the role of monitoring software

Security events rarely end when the alarm is closed. Many organizations conduct ongoing investigations, reviews, and follow-up activities to understand patterns, identify individuals of interest, and improve future response.

By integrating Captis Intelligence directly into Immix, monitoring software becomes more than a point-in-time response tool. It becomes a system that supports continuous understanding, accountability, and informed action across the full incident lifecycle.

This capability expands the services Immix customers can offer, while maintaining a clear focus on safety, transparency, and operational integrity.
